![]() This was the one that was not assembled properly, with missing parts, still in the factory stapled box. Thanks fully I was not holding the bow as a part hit the left STD rod bending it and taking a piece out of the "J" section (cable slide area)īoth of these crossbows were bought in the late summer to early fall of 2015. At the 4:00 0'clock position, more parts 35 feet away. As you stand behind the bow facing the target (12:00 o'clock position) I found parts at the 9:30 and 10:00 o'clock area 51 feet away. Where the limbs show is where they landed when the riser blew. In the pictures you will see the arrow is still properly loaded. Turn around time is at least 6 weeks, not counting the time at the manufacture. The bow that the riser blew up on, if I had shipped it back each time I discovered a problem, would have made 7 trips, paying return postage which has to be done with any returned product. I periodically strip these bows down, clean them, checking for visible flaws with que tips and a magnifying glass and relube them, then carefully re assembling them. When these risers or limbs start to fail, they crack up from the inside, not showing external damage to start with. Checking the riser on my second bow which was sold new from a dealer but came with well lubricated string and cables, this riser had already had problems. With the amount of shooting I do the internal riser damage got worst until it blew up. ![]() I repaired this bow bringing it up to speed. My first bow was over stressed by the manufacture not assembling it properly. As one would build a higher draw weight, faster shooting bow, these parts should be stronger and there fore would not have the same number. My screen showed 38 1/2 % so I changed this to 50%. Go to the red block which you may have to enlarge by going to the top of your screen and increasing the percentage. When you open the link I supplied and select the bow, then the riser section, you will find a number for each part.
